Application of V260 inverter in the diamond wire saw

Abstract: The traditional diamond wire saw controls the load of master motor and speed of motor moving through PLC gathering current mutual inductor analog signal, recognized as a complicated configuration for the necessary attendance of professional PLC programmer and high machine cost. In addition, the current mutual inductor and analog input/output module is easily broke in the terrible environment such as mine water inrush and dust. This paper introduces a diamond wire saw on the basis of SUNFAR V260 inverter  which can realize the process requirement of machine with no need to connect PLC and current mutual inductor.

Ⅱ.the organization of diamond wire saw and application

        Diamond wire saw, a mining stone machinery, is used to exploit stone like granite and marble, including master motor,moving motor, flywheel, guide pulley, wire saw chain, moving platform and operation platform. According tothe slicing object, the diamond wire saw is generally divided into four series: concrete, marble, granite and others.

 

Process requirement

       Diamond wire saw works by the way that employs master motor to drive the wire saw along the  track. With a wire saw connecting to a stone cut crevice, the moving motor drives the sawing machine via a reducer to move backward along the direction of stone with a certain speed. The moving speed must adjust according to the the load of master motor and tension that saw needs. When the moving speed is too quick, the load of master motor increases or even over load, the tension that wire saw bears will be larger, and the wire saw will breakage , conversely, when the moving speed is too slow, the tension too small, the wire saw will slip in the stone with low efficiency, and the loose wire may wring together. Therefore, to ensure the load balance of master motor and proper tension is the key to improve cutting efficiency of saw machine. The moving speed must adjust in correspondence with the size of cross section for the irregularity of mine. The  process technology is following"

Ⅳ. Debugging 
       The frequency of master motor is adjusted by the external potentiometer and moving motor by VC1-VC2, the former is given by the external potentiometer, and the latter outputs practical running current to moving motor inverter via master inverter analog output terminal. Moving motor inverter process the two signal so as to adjust rotating speed based on the master current change and ensure the constant master motor current.
Advantages: stable load control which can adjust the moving speed with few fluctuation

Ⅴ. Summary 
This paper introduces a driving solution for wire saw on the basis of SUNFAR V260 inverter, characterized by the simple installation, fewer electric components, low failure rate which completely meets the process requirements of wire saw machine.
